Terms of Service

Welcome to Scholar Hub, a voice-based AI tutor for adult learners ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who Can Use Scholar Hub

Scholar Hub is for people aged 18 and over. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use it, and we may close an account if we learn that its owner is under 18.

2. Your Account

Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

3. AI-Generated Answers

Scholar Hub uses artificial intelligence to answer your questions out loud. Please understand that:

• Answers can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
• Answers are for learning and general information only. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial or exam-certification advice
• You should check anything important with a reliable source before relying on it
• We do not promise any particular learning result, exam score or career outcome

4. Free Plan, Connects and Ads

• Each question uses one connect. The Free plan includes 150 connects per month, and connects refresh each month
• Free-plan users see banner and occasional full-screen ads
• When you run out of connects you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn more. A completed ad currently earns 2 connects, up to 5 ads per day. Rewards are added after the ad is verified, which can take a short time
• Connects have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold
• We may change the allowance, the reward or the daily limit, and we may withhold rewards that result from fraud, automation or misuse

5. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Scholar Hub offers monthly subscription plans (Basic, Premium and Pro). Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account when you confirm the purchase and at the start of each renewal period.

Plans

Prices are shown in your local currency before you buy and may vary by region. Paid plans also include the support level described on the plan screen. Rewarded ads remain optional on every plan.

Managing and Cancelling

• Manage or cancel any time in your store's subscription settings (Google Play: Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions)
• Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then
• Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store as well

Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, cancel before it ends to avoid being charged. After the trial the subscription renews at the full price. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. Refunds

Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, so we cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, use your store's refund process (Google Play: your order history; Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com). Refunds are decided under the store's own policy and applicable law. We do not give partial refunds for unused time.

7. Acceptable Use

When using Scholar Hub you agree not to:

• Use it for anything unlawful, or to ask for or produce harmful, hateful or abusive content
• Try to hack, reverse engineer, disrupt or overload the app or our servers
• Use bots, scripts or other automation, including to earn rewards
• Share your login with others or access someone else's account
• Copy or redistribute the app's content or use our name or logo without permission

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

8. Your Privacy

How we collect and use information is explained in our Privacy Policy. In short: we do not sell your personal information, we do not keep your voice recordings, and you can delete your account and data in the app at any time.

9. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app can send you a daily practice reminder. You can turn reminders off in the Profile tab or in your device settings.

10. Availability and Changes

We work to keep the app available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, perform maintenance, and change prices for future billing periods with notice. We may update these terms from time to time and will tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Ownership

The app, its design, content and software belong to us and our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own learning while you follow these terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

Scholar Hub is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

• Decisions you make based on AI-generated answers
• Learning, exam or career results
• Service interruptions, technical problems or loss of data
• Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

13. Ending Your Use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile > your profile card > Delete Account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the service.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

We will try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion first. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer of Scholar Hub is based, and the courts of that country will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
